1. Start with the artist, not the package name
Terms such as HD, airbrush, luxury and signature can sound impressive, but the person doing the makeup matters more than the label. Ask which artist is assigned to your date and review work by that artist where possible.
Look closely at foundation near the jaw and neck, eye symmetry, brow shape, texture under daylight and whether the makeup still looks like the bride rather than a repeated template.
2. Build the Jaipur wedding timeline backwards
If the photographer needs the bride ready at 5:00 PM, makeup should not be scheduled to finish at 5:00 PM. Leave time for jewellery, dupatta or saree draping, final hair adjustments, portraits and movement through the venue.
For hotel and resort weddings, also account for lift waiting, corridors, security access and distance between the room and ceremony area.
